Nate Fagnilli

From the garage to the kitchen, Nate has always enjoyed working with his hands. As a kid, he took apart cars and put them back together. That led to a career in his family’s auto repair shop. But when the family sold that business, he needed a new direction.

When he moved into The Lakehouse Inn in 2000, he took an interest in cooking. When the family decided they were going to close the auto repair shop, his mother suggested he enroll in culinary school, where he fell in love with this new way of creating with his hands.

Nate has always been passionate about eating good food and knowing where it comes from. He’s carried this passion to his role at Crosswinds. He also cares deeply about treating animals humanely and working with local farmers to deliver real, farm-to-table food to his guests.

Nate also runs Na*Kyrsie Meats, a whole-animal seam butchery located in Geneva, Ohio.
